Ayo Babatunde is a seasoned financial and strategic leader with over two decades of experience spanning banking, finance, and consulting. His exceptional career trajectory highlights a consistent track record of success in leadership roles across prestigious organizations.
Mr. Babatunde currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Adino Investment Limited, a position he has held since April 2020. Prior to this, he was the Chief Executive Officer of SunTrust Bank Nigeria Ltd, where he championed financial innovation and growth between 2018 and 2020.
During his six-year tenure at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, Mr. Babatunde served as Regional Treasurer and Markets Head, Nigeria, overseeing treasury operations and market strategies. He also made significant contributions as a Consultant at FDHL Consulting and as Risk Treasurer at Citi, where he spent nearly nine years focusing on finance, business process improvement, and balance sheet management.
Mr. Babatunde began his career as an Operations Analyst at MBC International Bank, where he honed his skills in operational excellence and process efficiency.
Mr. Babatunde’s educational background further reflects his commitment to excellence and professional growth. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Accounting and Business/Management from Obafemi Awolowo University, earned in 1998. Additionally, he has completed executive programs at world-renowned institutions, including the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business (2016) and the Executive Development Program at The Wharton School (2015).
